The world is anxious on Barack Obama's oath-taking inauguration

There is every reason for the world to be anxious on Barack Obama's oath-taking inauguration. As the economic recession continues and more and more countries are affected by this global economic meltdown, the focus lies on Obama's already in place a stimulus plan and how he would handle the situation. We may recall that economic recession rooted on the bankruptcy of the oldest and biggest banks in the U.S., this caused a big blow on American economy and created a domino-effect in other countries. Though there had been already resolution drafted by Bush government, the process has been on a snail-pace and remain dormant possibly awaiting for the new president to speed-up the action.

We may recall that during President's Obama's campaign the winning slogan is gearing on the word "change" and his strong advocacy for American people to consolidate action and say "yes, we can".

Now the world is watching and awaiting for President's elect Barack Obama's assumption of office. Can the world expect for the abatement of the recession or could he be a strong personality to effect change for the betterment of the small and poor countries in the world? Well then, I may be speculating too much. Must I forget that U.S. is a democratic government where important policies can only push through with the concerted effort of the majority and yes with the final approval of the president. Emphasizing on the change that Obama has drafted during his campaign, we can just expect and pray that change could be the solution to end the crises.
